I used to double-click on any Word Docx when stored in DropBox and it would open, but lately, it won't open and an error message pops up... it is not consistent. Sometimes it opens and sometimes it does not. The error message says it is a MS Word problem, but when I spoke to MS, they said it is a DropBox problem since I have no problem working on Word files if they are out of DropBox. As a workaround - I can drag a file outside of DropBox and then it would open.14Views0likes1Comment名前をつけて保存の中のDropbox for Teams
14Views0likes1CommentExcel crashes when opening a file from Dropbox
Hello. This just started occurring yesterday for one of my machines. I have files stored on Dropbox sync'd through filer explorer. When I open the file from dropbox (file explorer), excel quits responding. When I open the same file from my Desktop, Excel works as normal. Dropbox is listed as a connected service in Excel and there have been no issues before yesterday. I have updated office and performed a repair without luck. Any thoughts?65Views0likes7CommentsAccess Blocked: Dropbox's request does not comply with Google policies.
Hi I am trying to open an Excel workbook via Dropbox on my S24 Ultra so that it will save directly to it. I go through the log in process for Dropbox in Excel and I'm getting a message saying "Access blocked: Dropbox's request does not comply with Google's policies". I've tried add Dropbox directly in the app and I get the same message. Please help!122Views0likes15CommentsI can't edit one of my Excel files anymore.
I am trying to work on an Excel document. I have been able to edit it in the past and can edit other Excel documents with no issues. This one (which I downloaded, worked on my laptop and re-uploaded the new version) will not let me edit it. That defeats the purpose. How can I correct this? It loads with the active taskbar, then shuts it off, and I cannot edit it. I don't see a way to attach a file here but I can edit other documents that open in Excel for windows/web so why not this one???Solved47Views0likes6CommentsOne user can't open/edit shared Excel files via her desktop app.
Have a user that started having issues with opening shared Excel files 3 days ago. Goes to shared folder clicks to open file it pops up on screen but never allows access. Has a blue circle a if file is still opening. I have uninstalled /reinstalled Dropbox and Office with no luck. I did find yesterday afternoon if I go to task manager and end Dropbox she can then access file. Was sent message this morning of having issue again. Same procedure in task manager and she can ope/edit files.73Views1like7CommentsThe Dropbox plug in for Outlook remains greyed out, and content doesn't appear.
I have a new laptop on Win11 and I added the Dropbox plug-in for Outlook. But it remains greyed out and the folder that should appear on the left folder navigation is missing. I installed the local app and that seems to be working fine. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, fully updated windows, the laptop, and the applications. Nothing seems to work.. I had wondered if it was due to my drop box being personal or if there was another issue. It was working correctly on my old system. Thanks32Views0likes1Comment
