Can't scroll from one photo to another on the mobile app
Recently I have been unable to scroll through my photos in Dropbox. I have to click one for it to load, view it, then go back and select the next one to load. This is extremely cumbersome and counter...

Ahh, thank you for sharing those details, I think I see what's happening. We've been adding support for previewing more file types, which changed the way the app works for many users of external apps that manage their files in Dropbox. To fix this we updated the behavior so that if you have a default app set for a file type within the Dropbox app, files open in that app when you tap them, instead of our Preview. It sounds like you have your phone's gallery app set as the default app for viewing images in Dropbox, so it's not using our preview to show the file, but downloading it and opening it in the Gallery app, which doesn't know anything about the other files in the folder in Dropbox.
To fix this, if you tap "Manage default apps" in the settings screen of the Dropbox app, you can remove your default app preference for photo files.
You can still open files in your gallery by tapping "Open with..." from the menu on the file in Dropbox, or the open with icon in the image preview in Dropbox, and selecting your phone's gallery.
Please let us know if that resolves the issue. Sorry for the confusion this change caused.

Hi Ryan, thanks for your reply.
It happens when I randomly select any photo from within any photos folder. Once selected, a progress bar appears briefly in the screen to show the status of downloading the photo, and it then seems to open the file through the phones gallery. As mentioned previously, once I try to "back out" of the photo, I am taken to my phones gallery of albums, and not the Dropbox folder I had been viewing.
It's almost as the default is "Open with gallery" as opposed to just viewing the photo through the mobile app? Have you encountered similar issues before?
