Dropbox StaffDropbox doesn't offer an API or other mechanism for estimating the upload/download speeds you would see in practice. Your connection speed to Dropbox depends on the routing you get between your ISP and our servers, and may be slower than your ISP's rated speeds. It also depends on a number of other variables, such as the device being used, the implementation of the software performing the transfer, etc., and may vary over time.
