Can't use Drag & Drop to upload content online.
Unable to use drag and drop to upload files in browser - have tested both Chrome and Safari, Incognito and normal modes. Both browsers up to date. I receive the following error message: Note - I'm on a Personal account, NOT Business. I also have more than .5 GB of free space still available. This error message is appearing for all files types, including small .pdfs that are not exceeding that amount of free space on my DropBox. Thanks
Issue with "photos" tab and "camera uploads" folder
My "Camera Uploads" folder only has photos going back one month, plus one short video from last June. However, all the photos from my phone going back years, including the ones taken in the past month, are in the "Photos" tab. This seems odd. Is this how it's supposed to work? And why is the only older file in "Camera Uploads" a single video from June? Thanks!
Auto upload videos from camera roll
Please automatically upload videos from camera roll to Dropbox. Videos can be more precious than photos to users and this feature being optional with no prompt or notification to warn as such can cause great distress if missed. Most other platforms have this done automatically so users do not think to double check this presumably given feature. If you insist on this feature remaining please at least incorporate more notifications/banners to clearly show the user that it is off as a warning.
Missing name and email address columns from CSV file when bulk sending.
Hi, I'm trying to do a bulk send, but when I upload the CSV file it says: Missing required column: Employee name Missing required column: Employee email_address But I already have that 2 columns on my file. What's the correct way to input the data inside the CSV file?
Why can't I upload my files when I have plenty of space left on my Dropbox account?
I just signed up with Dropbox for the free 2GB storage space. I have trying to save important training documents and it is saying I am out of space when I clearly have plenty of storage space left. Can I get some assistance with this? I have only used 0.09 GB. I don't have anything in backup.
I want to check the upload/download files when using the app.
I have been using it at work for many years. It's very helpful, but sometimes the upload or download doesn't proceed. At that time, the message "Synchronizing XX files" will be displayed and no progress will be made for several days. If I could figure out which file is taking the time, I could temporarily save it, but I can't do anything about it because I don't know which file is the problem. Is it possible to have the Dropboxdesktop app display which files are being synced?
Uploading files in bulk and getting an error that some files have been skipped
when im uploading files in bulk form of filling system I have created. Im experiencing a message telling me files have been skipped in the box on the bottom right of the screen. However when I look in the files on Dropbox after the upload has completed. The files it referring to are there and uploaded as needed? This is therefore confusing me thinking the files have not uploaded and been skipped in the process. What does the "skipped" mean? Im concerned there may be files that don't get uploads. This is a very big concern as I have a lot to upload. if a file fails to upload is that shown in the failed area. sounds like a daft question but im just confused with the whole skipped thing when its showing as being there. when bulk uploading how will in know a fail has failed to upload?
