I am trying to link Dropbox Teams account with new Salesforce setup. I can see from both softwares that I am connected but in the Dropbox window within a Salesforce case or opportunity, I get the following message: "You need to be invited to the 'Salesforce Documents' shared folder. Please contact your system administrator to get access to content already linked to this record." I am the system administrator for Dropbox. We don't want our employees to install and sync company dropbox account onto their own personal devices due to security reasons. Hi, I'm on a business trial plan at the moment and I want to add more license to the team (10 license). I tried doing it via the admin console in manage license, but it always says payment error, even though I have added the billing method. I tried with different browsers as well and nothing worked (mozila, chrome, opera, edge). I tried managing license from different panels, billing panel and member panel and both did not work and return the same payment error. Then I tried to invite 10 people into my team so I can have 10 license, but this also does not work. The first 2 invitations were sent successfully, but when I tried to invite more people, I get this error. How can I increase the number of license that I have on business trial? We are small organisation where three people from the management should share documents. We decided to purchase Dropbox Business with 3 licenses. One person created the Dropbox account, and automatically became ADMIN. His email become the address used by Dropbox to communicate the issues affecting the whole team. Other people were invited by admin via invitation process. Now - in this organisation, management regularly rotate - one or more people leave the management, other people enter management. At any given time, there are at most 3 people in the management. What is the correct procedure to manage Dropbox accounts in this scenario? For example - when Admin person is replaced in the management, how to transfer ADMIN role to differrent user? There are two scenario variants: a) tranfer ADMIN role to already existing user b) transfer ADMIN role to newly added user - this, however, temporarily increases the number of users by 1 🙂 How to solve this?62Views0likes5CommentsWe can't change the ownership of a folder on our Dropbox team.
Hi, I'm an administrator for our Dropbox Team. One of our employees would like to transfer ownership of a folder to another employee. He tried, and then I tried at the admin level, and followed the Help Center instructions for changing ownership. When we open the drop -down menu showing who has access to the folder, we only see "can edit" and "can view" as options, not "make owner" as suggested in the instructions. Hello, Our company’s admin Dropbox account was deleted due to locked state. However, other team members who had access to files shared from this admin account can still view them. I need to delete some of these files, but since the owner account (admin) was deleted, I no longer have control over them. When I logged back into the admin account, a new profile was created, and all previous files were missing. Is there a way to assign admin rights to one of the existing members with access to these files, so they can control and manage them as an admin? Hallo liebe Community, ich habe Dropbox Busines und wollte in meiner Dropbox aufräumen. Dazu wollte ich alte Ordner verschieben. Der Button zum Verschieben ist nicht mehr sichtbar. Die Unterordner kann ich verschieben. Ich habe nun einen Test Ordner erstellt. Auch den kann ich nicht verschieben. Ich bin Admin. Hat einer eine Idee warum das auf einmal nicht mehr geht?
