Unable to open Excel files on Android Dropbox mobile app - Office login loop
Hi, I have a free dropbox account and have used it for years to store a few basic excel spreadsheets that I use daily. I have a paid Microsoft 365 account that I use on my android phone and lenovo laptop. For some reason the last few days, I am unable to open my dropbox excel spreadsheets on my phone. When I try to open the spreadsheet I get a log in page saying "Log in or sign up to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration". I log in using my dropbox user and pw and it just sends me to my onedrive. I have tried deleting the dropbox and 365 apps on my phone and re installing and logging in. I have tried to open the dropbox files by going into excel first and then trying to open the dropbox spreadsheet. Just always sends me to the log in page. It all works fine on my laptop, and after saving, my dropbox android app shows the newly updated spreadsheet. Dont know what has happened. Please help.

hello, i'm having a trouble with file editing and modifying issue i can edit my word file when i use dropbox with desktop and laptop computer however, when i use dropbox with smartphone, i cannot edit or modify my word file. therefore, i only see word file contents when i use smartphone. even if i want to edit it. i use basic plan. is this a problem of editing issue? please help me!! thank you.
File in Dropbox on my HP, but not in Dropbox on my iPhone 12
I have a cookbook in Dropbox so I can share it with my grandchildren. I created a new recipe today Potato Soup in Word and saved it to Dropbox. It shows up on my HP laptop where I created and saved it, but I went to Dropbox on my iPhone so I could create a link and text it to them, but it doesn't show up on my iPhone. The rest of the cookbook is on my iPhone.

Android OS: Share>Upload to Dropbox>'Choose upload location': That dialog window does not show the name/path of the destination folder it is displayingto the user. Often this forces the user to tap 'back' several times to see what node of the folder tree the app will send the file(s) to. If the user hasn't done a recent 'Share>Add to Dropbox' operation, they have no memory of what the last destination folder path was. Please help the user know right away the name/path if the default destination folder. Thank you. P.S. Hey everyone, I just switched to an Android from an iPhone. I am facing a feature problem that I loved on my iPhone! Which is, if I open up an audio file from my dropbox app I can just do other stuff on my phone. On android however, it stops playing whenever I switch over to a different app. Is there a way to let it run in the background just like the iPhone? Thanks!
