Can't edit Microsoft files on iPhone (iOS 18)
I can no longer (just since a few days) edit any files from Microsoft (.xlsx, .docx or .pptx) on my iPhone (14 with iOS18). I can only read them. I do subscribe on Microsoft 365 and I have always been able to open and edit Microsoft files from my phone. It works fine on PC. Also If I copy the file from Dropbox to OneDrive (on the PC), everything works fine even from the phone when opened from OneDrive. When clicking on the file in Dropbox asking for example to open in Excel, I get the answer that the file is stored on a Server which is not supported Please Help
Can’t edit Dropbox files in Excel anymore. Get an error about the file not being able to open.
I’ve always been able to open an Excel file in Dropbox to edit it. It was very simple…click the file, click Open In, choose Excel, make my edits, click “return to Dropbox”, refresh, and the file now had my edits. Now, however, when I click on Open In, choose Excel, I get a message that says “sorry, something went wrong and the file can’t be opened”. Super frustrating. I’ve signed out and back in, unlinked and relinked Excel Online on the actual Dropbox website, not the app. Have searched Dropbox help. I have a Microsoft 365 account, so I’ve also tried logging in and out of it. I’ve gone through setting on both applications, but no matter what I do, I no longer am able to edit this file, which means I have to upload and replace the file whenever I need to make changes. The file is shared, but I need to share it. Please help.Audio transcription malfunction, hard line breaks partway across every line
Recently when I have copied .wma audio transcripts from Dropbox to a Word document, the text inserts a hard line break on every line of the page about 2/3 horizontally across the page, with breaks landing in mid sentence. It never used to do this. The previous transcription format wasn't all that great either, and needed a certain amount of cleanup, but this latest glitch makes the transcribed text almost impossible to work with. Needless to say this is very annoying, as I use the transcript feature a lot. Could this problem please be addressed?
Error when viewing .docx file, can't open.
I have this .docx file on dropbox, when I edit it with MS Word it totally normal (pic 1.). But when I preview it with dropbox it automatically arrange my collum width and make it like the (pic 2.) second picture here. Any one can help me with it. My client is working on the Dropbox previewer file only.

Dropbox can't sync CATIA V5 .CATdrawing file if there is any edit , this bug exists on every dropbox version for a very long time . It reminds "can't store data when write " , there is no such kind of issue on Onedrive .
I'm getting conflicted copies when using Pages on my iPad with Dropbox files.
Hi there. Whenever I use Pages on my iPad for word processing and the file it’s using is sourced from Dropbox I’m getting multiple conflicted copies generated. It feels like 1 every 5 minutes or whenever the program auto-saves so 30 minutes of writing will generate multiple conflicted copies in my Dropbox folder. Anyone have any solutions or workarounds to this? Thanks
How can I bypass the mandatory folder naming for the Dropbox folder?
Previously, it was possible to save your Dropbox folder with any name and location you preferred on your computer. However, it now enforces a specific username for the folder, which complicates collaborative work when syncing with programs like Revit. This change has been causing issues for our workflows. Does anyone know how to remove or bypass this mandatory folder naming in Dropbox?
Can I change the PDF viewer in the Dropbox app on iPad?
Is there a way to change/extend the PDF viewer in the Dropbox App for the iPad? When I click on "Open in" in a PDF, it only shows the option of Adobe, but I use want to use the Xodo app. Even when I uninstall Adobe it wants me to install it or won’t open the PDF on the tablet. I have tried installing other PDF readers and none will show up in the list to open the files When I open the files from Xodo directly, I keep creating conflicting copies or it won’t save the changes I have made.
