Confused after creating a Business trial - how can I see the plan pricing?
Hello, I signed up and it appears that I have a business plan. I thought I was signing uip for a free account. I am now being asked for a CC or my account will expire. I host about 3 images here so that they can be used on email signatures. I am trying to determine what the plan price is so I can decide if it's even worthi t of if I should figure out another way to host those images. Can anyone provide info. Thanks,
How can I prevent team members from sharing or downloading the data to use them as their own?
I am planning to start a work account with Dropbox, but my profession revolves around highly valuable data. My main concern is whether other users with access to the shared Dropbox account can download files without permission. If they do, they could potentially use the downloaded data to run their own business and generate revenue, which would be a serious issue. Is there a solution to prevent unauthorized downloads or ensure better control over shared data? I would appreciate any guidance on this.
What will happen to my shared links and account after my Dropbox team trial ends?
I recently created my Dropbox account. I clicked 'Business', because I am using the account through work, but I didn't realise this meant I was getting a free trial that would expire?!? I needed this account to create a link that could be shared to hundreds of people. I have already sent the link, but I need it to be active for at least 42 days. The problem is my free trial expires in around 14 days. What will happen to my link when the free trial expires? Will it still work for those recipients? What will become of my account? Will it just convert to a 'regular' account?
I had previously paired my accounts, but my files are no longer in my personal Dropbox.
Help... I've had a personal paid plus dropbox account for 3+ years for all my freelance design work. A 6 months ago I was working for a studio that also used dropbox and gave me a work email to access their dropbox from my laptop as well. I could then access their files and my own dropbox. I remember I could access both logins from the dropbox module icon. I brought a new laptop and began syncing my dropbox onto it and noticed that I've just logged into their work account and my personal account isn't there. Therefore all my personal dropbox files are now on their work account and when I went to login into my personal account it's created a brand new dropbox account and is completely empty. So there's a few questions I have.. 1. How do I get all my files back onto my personal dropbox? 2. Why has my personal dropbox account disappeared? 3. Why have I been paying getting billed for PLUS on my personal dropbox for 6+ months while the account hasn't existed? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
My entire Dropbox account has been deleted after sharing with another user.
I joined another Dropbox account for a project, and unshared after the project was over. This appeared to just permissions system, but now all my files and folders have been deleted. After looking at my payments, it appears my last monthly payment was refunded. I'm not sure what the hell happened, but it appears my whole account was erased and I'm losing my mind on how this could have happened. Did I transfer my account over to a different user? Is this even possible? I need to restore my files and don't see any way to access anyone by phone. Any help would be appreciated!"You need permission to perform this action" each time I'm creating a folder.
I have searched through the forum for a solution but have yet to find one. I am using the desktop and trying to create a folder and keep getting the error, "destination folder access denied" "you need permission to perform this action". I have unchecked "read only" in the properties and it re-checks "read only" as soon as I go back to try to create a folder. I am the owner, administrator etc of this computer and I pay for a drop box plan. I recently got a new computer and have had this issue ever since! I should not have to log into dropbox online every time I want to create a folder. I am running windows 11. I have ensured that I have the proper permissions checked. When I'm collaborating with my clients, I usually have them comment on photos/videos, this way I can see what my clients think about the product. I would love to see Dropbox include an integration where we can filter the folder to show which content in a folder has a comment in it. Unless there is another way of doing this, please drop a comment; otherwise, I would love to see this feature.

Hi. I have a big problem. when starting the program, this message appears: "Dropbox has encountered problems joining [team name] and will have to re-sync your files." I can't even sign in to application. When i try, this message appears: "Unable to connect to Dropbox" I still can log in to web service. What can I do to solve this?
