I was looking for a file I'd accessed on my phone, but was having a struggle seeing files based on how recently I'd accessed them so I tried on the web client instead I was shocked to see various flags of files being opened within the last hour that I hadn't accessed! I checked the files and they were only shared/accessable to me, not to anyone else.. I quickly changed my password and removed a slew of older devices I'd used to access Dropbox. The next morning (now) I've opened the web client again, and more random files that aren't shared with anyone else are still showing as being accessed seemingly "on their own" Can someone shed some light on this behaviour?6.6KViews0likes23CommentsI installed the Dropbox app, but my files aren't syncing to my web account.
I have installed the Dropbox app on my new Windows laptop. However, my files on the new laptop are not syncing with my Dropbox account and so I cannot access them from my Dropbox web account. What can I do to correct this? Thank you.35Views0likes5CommentsSync icons are no longer visible after Dropbox update on Windows
Hi there, Today, Dropbox automatically updated and ever since I can no longer see the sync icons on my files. I've repeatedly restarted and also checked the ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers section in the registry to make sure they weren't bumped out by OneDrive and Google but this is not the case. I'm not sure how else to get them back? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!80Views0likes5CommentsCHANGEMENT DE DROPBOX SUR MON BUREAU

I just noticed that one of our company users has run out of space on his C drive. Upon checking , I found a HUGE amount of data is sync'd with the company's Dropbox account. The user said he doesn't need these on his desktop computer, hence the question. Can you please tell me the process. I've been having issues with Dropbox as of about a month ago - Windows 10, older Ryzen processor, desktop app. At first, the sync attempts would hang up - it would constantly show it as syncing, and nothing I did would get it to stop. This included resets. Now today, it kept asking for updates - asking to run as administrator to do so, but never finishing the process after repeated acknowledgements. I went through an uninstall - it hung up on uninstall. I went to the forums to learn how to do a deeper uninstall and did that. Reinstalled the app on my PC. Now it won't start when Windows starts up, and when trying to start it manually, it hangs up. I've uninstalled it completely from my PC and won't be installing it again as I'm not sure what can be done that I haven't already done. I want to let folks know that there is something not right with it and my PC anymore, and I'm tired of fighting it. I'll deal with it through the web, as much as I'd rather not deal with it that way either. The desktop app is really convenient - or at least it was.61Views0likes7CommentsOpening the Dropbox folder enables Num Lock.
Hi, I have a weird little problem. Every time I open the Dropbox folder (double click on the icon on the task bar), there's a Windows notification popping up that Num Lock has been enabled. This only started happening after I upgraded my Windows 10 to 11. Any ideas how to fix this?272Views3likes20Comments
