1040 TopicsComments not showing on files that were stored in my Dropbox Vault
Hi, I'm missing all comments from my Dropbox files, and I need urgent help. Here's what Iâve noticed: All files in my Vault show last updated on March 5, 2025, which I havenât touched. Iâve already: Reinstalled the app on my iPhone Logged in via desktop Cleared browser history/cache Restarted Iphone This happened once before and resolved on its own, but I donât have time to wait. Concerned why this is occurring, could this be due to a Dropbox update or possible account breach. Has anyone else seen this? I need a resolution ASAP.50Views0likes5CommentsPlease darken and enlarge the font in Support chats.
The font in Support chat is very pale, there is not sufficient contrast to read easily. The current font is very hard to read because of this lack of contrast. Please darken and enlarge the font to make it easier to read Please refer to ticket number 249-22794 dropbox support chat as an example. Just bought a new Macbook, downloaded DB from the website. I can see the app or link in my finder file and also in the launchpad. When I click on the dropbox I can see my files which have a green check mark but none of them will open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times. I can not get to any of my files that I need to work with.68Views0likes3CommentsCan I get the actual creation date of the file, and not just the upload date?
I am not understanding how I can find out details on when a file was created. For example I have uploaded 714 PDF files today to a Folder PDF_11_10. When I look at the folder ALL the files show a modified date of today. Is there a way to get the actual creation date of each file and NOT just upload date. I have followed the instructions for 'file info' on Metadata but no luck. I would appreciate any solutions. Running on WIN11 with Dropbox PRO. Hello, I was on holiday and wanted to open a file I had successfully synced to be offline. However, when I tried to open the off-line file I received a message: "you can view this file offline, but you'll need an internet connection to edit it. Check your connection and try again OK" However, it doesn't even let me 'view' the file. Android v10 Galaxy Note9 App version: 414.2.2 I saw this discussion/Thread - but it didn't seem to have a resolution: https://www.dropboxforum.com/discussions/101001012/offline-mode-not-working-on-android/756275 and the thread is closed - so I can't add my comments there. Did you find a resolution to this issue?107Views0likes17CommentsVideo transcript is not working, it just loads indefinitely.
No matter how long I wait, it stays like this indefinitely. Refreshing the page or trying a different browser doesnât fix it either. Iâve tried Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, but the result is the same on all of them. Even clearing history/cookies doesnât solve the issue. Does anyone have a solution?67Views0likes10CommentsGive the possibility to view some special characters that do not display on iPad/iPad/iPod!
Hi, for some important concepts, I have the habit of inserting, before a certain title, of the characters, symbols, which do not display in any way on iPhone and iPad. It would be interesting if they could also be viewed on these devices, rather than see squares. Another thing that I noticed is that not even the sections are read, this problem is always present on iPad/iPhone. I attach a screen to make you understand what symbols I am referring to, in the hope that this possibility will be given!63Views0likes2CommentsPage isn't loading when opening a file in "Excel for the web" on Safari
Hi - I'm hoping someone can help me. We've been using dropbox for a while and it's been going swimmingly, but in the recent few months there has been a change. When I open an excel document it used to open in 'Excel for the web' and was easily editable, but recently it's stopped loading properly. I'm trying to open it using Safari browser (my friend who is using Microsoft software isn't having the same issue), and now instead of the file loading it looks like this, but never loads: Can anyone help? I've restarted my computer and installed any updates. Many thanks.249Views0likes21Comments
