Permanently dismiss "editing is locked for this file" notification
Recently, every time I open a colleague's spreadsheet, I get this notification. I access this document every day. I NEVER need to edit it. So dismissing this notification every single day is extremely irritating. Is there any way to permanently dismiss this banner?
File requests: Option to edit both the name of requester and description
Hi all! It would be great if we had a rich text option when writing descriptions for our file requests. It would also be great if I could change the name that's sending the request so it can come from my client and not me personally. Here's an example where some line breaks and HTML markup would be super helpful!The Dropbox app doesn't show the same shared files between colleagues.
Hello everyone, in my Dropbox account I do have an Excel file shared with my colleagues: I can view/edit normally on Dropbox app with the same my account logged in, my colleagues can view/edit the file on Dropbox through the PC but the problem is they cannot see the same file AT ALL on their Dropbox app with theirs same acounts logged in. Is anybody having the same issue or had the same issue and solved it? Many thanks in advance!

Issues with Android users updating shared files
Good Afternoon, We use Dropbox for team members to lodge daily paperwork but all of our Android users are reporting issues and the documents aren't coming through to the shared files. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this? We have checked for further updates, signed out and uninstalled the affected apps. Thank you!
Search and sort through images with facial recognition
I’m in my final year of high school and my cohort has started a Dropbox to compile everyone’s photos for the whole year. I think it would be really cool to be able to say find all the photos of me, or the photo of me and Person A. Similar of like how you can search by people on the Apple photos app. We have hundreds of photos and sorting through them is tedious. I think this could be a really cool idea.
Is it possible to sync files between the USA and China?
Hello! I found this service while was searching for an app to sync files across devices and now I wonder if it's possiible to share info from device to other one if they're in different countries? I need to sync all the data about my online Sellvia store + all the docs on the computer constantly, without the need to do it manually. I'm in USA and the other person with device is in China. So is this possible? (sorry if the question seems to be silly, I'm just not a tech pro and don't know a thing about it)

Can I send a link that'll open up to a local file instead of the website?
Hi all Is there a way to send a local link to a Dropbox file? My wife and I use the same Dropbox account to share files. If I want to call her attention to a file, I can send a regular Dropbox link, but it'll open up a browser and show her the file at dropbox.com, when I know full well the file is available to her on her local Dropbox folder. It would just save me saying "hey there's a file in dropbox, it's in the X folder, subfolder Y, it's called blah blah". Both using Macs. thanks!
