Hi, I have logged onto my Dropbox account and all of my files are missing. I have not been on in a couple of months and now everything is gone. I looked through deleted files and events. Nothing shows up. Is this something that can happen? What is the problem? They were definitely on this account.
10 years of files are gone, after joining a Team.
I have used Dropbox for 10 years with company backups etc. recently someone added my email to their team so I could access their files too - but then they deleted me when the job was over and my entire Dropbox is gone. My account is even gone as when I logged in, it made me re-register. I have all my company accounts, tax files, 10 years of backups etc. I need them back. If I am audited I am totally screwed. When they added me to their team, there was still a folder called ‘Renaes files’ that had all of my personal stuff and the company one was separate. How did they delete my files? Where would they be?
After formatting my computer I cannot access my files.
I formatted my computer. Then I re-installed Dropbox. I got a message that I must pay for extra space, which I did, but now I cannot access my files and don't find a way to load them or see them online. They dissapeared also from my phone. I do see the additional space I payed for. Please help, anyone
Can't restore a deleted folder. Error: "There was a problem completing this request".
So I deleted a folder, but somehow dropbox deleted the one next to it. Now I can only find that deleted folder under: in the browser, its not in the deleted files part of it. Whenever i double click that folder, and try to restore it it says: There was a problem completing this request. I never touched this folder, dropbox bugged out and deleted the wrong one, and now i cant seem to restore it. Not in different browsers, not a teammate, nothing. Why does it also not show up in the deleted files part of dropbox?I signed into my account and all my photos are gone
A few months ago I received a message from Dropbox that if I didn't sign into my account all my photos would be deleted. My Dropbox was full and I hadn't added any photos for quite some time but did want to save them. So I signed in, updated my email address and looked through all the photos. I thought that was all I had to do. This week I got a similar email stating I needed to do something because my Dropbox was full. So I signed in and to my big surprise all the photos were gone! Is there any way Dropbox can restore these photos or am I screwed?
Is it possible to recover files deleted more than a year ago?
Hello! Can you please tell me if it is possible to recover photos/files that were deleted from the Dropbox cloud more than a year ago? Previously, I created a folder in the cloud that contained valuable photos, then deleted it. Now I need to recover photos from this folder, which I deleted 2-3 years ago. I read on the Dropbox website that you can only recover data if you have a full subscription no older than 1 year of deletion. But in other cases, it says to contact support. Maybe there are other ways to recover early files (deleted 2-3 years ago)? Thank you in advance for your answer!

How can I stop dropbox from Deleting files from my PC Deleting files in backup? Dropbox keeps deleting files from my laptop & in the back up . I dont want ANY files deleted on my PC I want to keep them on laptop and just backed up I certainly dont want any deleted ? What setting do I need for this? All my files are gone
I haven't logged in since August, but I've been using this login for years and never had a problem. Now all of a sudden all of my files are gone. I've tried logging out and logging back in several times. No luck. I've tried to find something in the deleted area. There is absolutely no evidence that I ever had any files at all. What can I do?
