On Mac Sequoia, my Finder does not find Dropbox files.
Hi everyone! On my Mac I have a Dropbox folder which is automatically synchronized with my Dropbox online. I move may files from my Mac into that folder. I see the files in my Mac's Dropbox folder, and I know they are also in Dropbox in the cloud. The problem is that when I search in the Mac's finder, I cannot find the files. I can find them when I search via the menu bar app icon and find the files that way, but it's not convenient, I have to then select "show in finder". Before I could search in the finder directly for the files and the Finder would find the files in the Dropbox folder. What has changed? Why can't my Finder find files which are in my Mac's Dropbox folder?
Turn off line numbering when viewing text files
Is there a way to disable the entirely unnecessary and unhelpful line numbering when viewing text files? I don't need it and I don't want it. Why on earth was that added? I love Dropbox but they really need to stop springing surprise features on customers and allow us to opt-in. Some of the interface changes lately have been a huge nuissance and I've had to waste a bunch of time figuring out how to roll them back or disable them.
Don't show this message again Print Layout View
Hi, When i open word file, a message show like " This document contains ink, shapes and images that are not legible in Mobile View. To see them, switch to Print Layout View." This message keeps appearing every time I open word, I think there should be an option "Don't show this message again".
Android App: Fullscreen mode / Presentation mode / Slideshow for viewing images
Hello, until a few years ago, there seems to have been a “fullscreen mode”, “presentation mode” or “slideshow mode” in the Android app. This allowed you to swipe through photos in a folder without leaving fullscreen mode. Current: 1. click on an image in the image overview 2. the image becomes large (in Dropbox, no other standard app linked) with header and footer (info, share button, etc..., see image below) 3. you click on the image again: Header and footer disappear 4. the current state is the desired one [Now you would expect to swipe to go to the next or previous image] 5. however, swiping only takes you back to the view mode from 2. with header and footer 6. only now does the swipe work However, I would like to present photos and videos in full-screen mode using the app. The cell phone is connected to the TV via WLAN screen share. Why has this feature been removed? MfG AndréDropbox removes the images from my Word document and throws a preview error.
I have a Word document, compressed to 13gb that contains over 100 images, when I upload the .docx into Dropbox it either removes all the images and just previews text or it gives me the error ".docx files are supported but something went wrong". Any would be appreciated.
