I accidentally joined a Dropbox team and I can't leave it now or delete my account.
Hi, I was just invited to join a dropbox team. The invite was sent to the email address that I use for my personal info, etc. I thought nothing of it as I just thought we'd have a shared folder or something, but it turned out it pulled all my stored dropbox info into this team. As a result, I quickly tried to delete all my personal files. It's moved them all into the trash, but it's saying I don't have permission to permanently delete them. It's also not allowing me to delete my personal account or leave the team. What are my options here, all I want to do is delete all my old info - but I don't seem to have that option with whatever I try to do?
My backup files are gone after my admin deleted my Dropbox account. How can I restore everything?
I have seen loads of people having these kinds of issues with Dropbox since 3 years ago. Unfortunately this issue remained unsolved by dropbox until today. What happened was I joined our company Dropbox team a few months ago. Now they are changing the subscription, and one of my colleagues wanted to remove me from the Team. In doing so, she deleted my account due to misunderstanding of the website wordings. On my computer, my downloads, desktop, documents files are gone. I tried restoring my files from Apple time machine but failed. It says the upper files path does not exist. Some traces deleting the folder somehow broke the path to the folders. I am in desperate need of recovering my account.
How to extricate my folder from a Dropbox team?
HELP. I have had a Dropbox account for 15 years. Recently, a new client asked me to join their Dropbox as a member. Once I joined, my own personal files are now part of their account, in a separate folder. How to do move my files back to my own personal account? They are not linked... I seem to have somehow become a folder in their account. Can I create a new account with my same email and somehow move the entire folder to my new account? Or somehow reinstate my old personal account?

hello I have an account for several years and this morning i joined by mistake (thought if was a shared folder) another existing account so my own personnal account is terminated. Hello community, Today I tried to access a teams folder as I do once a week but when I opened Dropbox, I was logged of and after typing my login credentials I got a message saying that my account was ELIMINATED and ask the admin to invite me again and I did but after accepting the invitation I got a new message saying that I have to wait 6 days before trying to do that and I’m just blocked at work because I cannot access the teams folder. What’s up with that? Why dropbox eliminated me? (The Admin didn’t do it) Why do I have to wait 6 days? Why no previous notification informing me that this would happen?
I joined a Team Dropbox, how can I leave it?
I just accepted a link to collab on a folder, it now appears I am part of their team which I do not want to be. In my folder all our company data is now stored as part of their teams and dropbox has just refunded me money ? How do I undo this VERY QUICKLY ?
