Salve, quando cerco di avviare l'app Dropbox su Mac mi compare il messaggio "Impossibile avviare Dropbox". L'app ha sempre funzionato sino a ieri. Cosa posso fare? a few days ago, dropbox suddenly stopped syncing on my laptop. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling. at first, i couldn't reinstall so i tried the offline installer as suggested in dropbox help. got dropbox to finally install. however, now, i get error "couldnt complete sign in. pls try again." i tried uninstalling then reinstalling, and even tried reinstalling without uninstalling as suggested in the threads here to no avail. i also turned off kaspersky firewall while reinstalling as suggested in the forum but still encounter the same problem. encountered problem with dropbox at about the same time my microsoft edge browser suddenly disappeared. dont know if my prob with the browser has anything to do with my dropbox problem. i'm on windows 10 home. help please. thanks.Solved45Views0likes3CommentsSwipen in Dropbox Ordnern - Mobile App Android
Hallo, ich habe ein Dropbox Plus Abo und nutze die App hauptsächlich auf dem Handy als Ablage für meine Fotos. Bis vor einigen Wochen konnte ich die Ordner öffnen, ein Bild öffnen und ansehen und dann nach links swipen um das nächste Bild anzusehen. So macht es ja auch Sinn Fotos in einer Art Gallerie nacheinander anzusehen. Mittlerweile ist es aber so, dass ich den Ordner öffne, ein Bild öffne und dann ein kleines Infofeld kommt mit dem Namen des Bildes. Währenddessen öffnet sich das Bild und man kann es ansehen - nur das nach links wischen geht nicht mehr - d.h. das Bild muss geschlossen werden, das nächste ausgewählt und wieder geöffnet werden usw. Das ist aber doch nicht Sinn der Sache wenn man Bildergalerien anschauen möchte. Kennt das jemand? Und noch wichtiger, weiß jemand was ich tun kann/muss, dass es wieder richtig funktioniert? Die Bilder sind alle als jpg. gespeichert. Daran wurde aber auch nichts geändert. Danke für eure Hilfe! Hi there, Dropbox does not complete installation on a new Win 11 install that has been fully updated. This is the latest error code: I've tried different things for 2-3 days no and nothing has worked. I've rebooted, etc ad nauseum between each attempt: Normal install Normal install, run as admin Offline installer Offline installer, run as admin Offline installer run as admin with all antivirus/firewall turned off I'm in China, so tried all the above with and without VPN turned on. Hi all, I am having trouble re-installing dropbox to my laptop running on Windows 11 Home. It started a few days ago after I quit the dropbox program, and cannot reopen it. I uninstalled it thinking reinstalling might solve the problem, but it doesn't. I have tried installing the full package, and also followed the "How to run an advanced re-install" step by step, and the same error message keep showing up. Here are some worthwhile anomalies I think may help those with better understand of the program When it was still installed originally after quitting, the task manager does have Dropbox and dropbox update in the tasks, but no interface of the dropbox program showed up. After trying to reinstall it, the error message will read "Installation failed with an unknown error (Error Code: -1073741674). See the link below for instructions to perform an advanced reinstall. The link brings me to a page that allows me to do a full download. This did not solve my issue. When I navigate to Apps, I will actually find the Dropbox program installed, only cannot be run and having the same issues as before. It has been a few days and support did escalate my case, but no one has contacted yet directly through email, so I'd figure I should open a discussion here. Any input will be helpful. I started a free trial on 18.3.25. I am completely lost! I seem to have a Business Plan, but I don't want that. I just wanted to transfer some folders/files onto a new laptop. Dropbox seems to have transferred the videos/music from my USB, onto Dropbox, without asking and automatically synced 'something'. I don't know what. (although thankfully, it did seem to movedmy photos onto the new laptop) I don't know what has been synced? 2. I made some adjustments to preferences, but I cannot find 'preferences' again, to check if noted. Where do I find Preferences? 3. I have deleted the taskbar icon by mistake and so cannot access my account. 4. I am worried sick that if I do not continue with Dropbox, that I will lose all my files/folders in Documents,Music, Videos and possibly Pictures? I just discovered that the Dropbox Windows App is not a good app-space manager. On one computer: c:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\ contains SEVEN old client versions, using over 2.6GB of storage! The folders are things like Client_77.4.131 Client_211.3.5889 Client_221.3.5229 Another computer: only one, 300MB. Another: nine versions, 3.4GB And one more: no extras at all. The old versions are dated as recently as October 2024, and March 13, 2025 QUESTIONS: Is this a known bug? Please fix it! Is there any kind of safe "Dropbox cleanup" tool that could fix this?
