Hi! I'm getting confused about the Professional vs the Essentials plan. On the Dropbox site it says for either plan that it's more advanced than the other. That couldn't possibly be true? It seems both are priced at 199 USD per year. So which one is actually better and is one fully contained in the other? https://help.dropbox.com/plans/dropbox-professional https://help.dropbox.com/plans/dropbox-essentials Thanks in advance for your feedback. -T.59Views0likes7Comments--> Did you know... you can search for images using just text?
Hello Dropbox Community! My name is Lainie and I'm a Product Manager at Dropbox. Every now and again, I am going to post a "--> Did you know..." to 1) keep you informed of all of the cool technology that exists at Dropbox and 2) gather your feedback on how the features are performing. In today's, "--> Did you know..." I'll be talking about Image Search! Image search is allows you to use the Search Bar to search for the contents of the image using words to describe the image. For example, if you search for "cat" your search results will show files that 1) contain the word "cat" in the file name or body, AND 2) files that contain images of cat. No mention of the word "cat" is necessary! Pretty cool! If you haven't yet, I recommend that you check it out. Please respond to this thread and let me know... A) Did you know this feature existed? Do you use it? B) How can we make this even more useful for you? Have a great day! Hi there, This morning when loading a document I've been working on, the scrolling arrows in the comments box are not showing. Upon loading, they appear squashed in the top right hand corner of the comments box for a few seconds, and then vanish. Myself and a colleague are currently unable to scroll through the comments at all. They had been working fine up until today. I've loaded the file on three different browsers including Firefox - all have the same issue. Thanks, Justin.Solved166Views1like14CommentsFiles are suddenly zero kb
Hi, I have browsed through the forums, but couldn't find any relevant posts. I have a few documents that are several years old, SUDDENLY they are zero kb and cannot be opened. I haven't really changed anything in my set up. (I am on a Mac, Monterey, OSX 12.6.1, but I'm pretty sure the problem was there even before I updated to Monterey) The issue relates to BOTH offline and online files, i.e. they are zero kb both online and in my local folder! I have tried switching between "make files available offline" and "online only" but to no avail. Please help, since these are quite important files. Thanks//Oscar1.9KViews1like10CommentsI upgraded to Professional via my Apple account, but my Dropbox account is still Plus.
Because I subscribe to dropbox via my apple account, I have to upgrade to professional there. I did that and paid a month ago, but my account in dropbox still shows I am only on plus plan. I have no way I can see to contact dropbox about this. I paid for a month and have no additional features -- one of which includes being able to contact them directly for support issues 😕189Views0likes1CommentCan I purchase 1 more TB for my Plus account to reach 4TB?
Good morning, I currently have a Dropbox Plus account. I've already included a 1TB add-on with this. Now it's starting to fill up as well, and I'd like to add an extra TB to a total of 4TB. I don't see the need to switch to a Professional account, where I have to pay directly for 3 users, while I don't use this. is there a way to extend my Plus account? Thanks in advance.587Views0likes9CommentsWhat is the difference between sharing a link or Dropbox Transfer?
What are the exact differences between choosing a folder and sharing the link of that folder to a person who doesnt have Dropbox, or using Dropbox Transfer to send that folder to the same person? Do not suggest me that that person should download Dropbox. He is not allowed to use it in his workplace since they use a different system. I have Dropbox Professional with University of Florida, I am employed there.Solved687Views0likes6CommentsFamily plan vs Professional plan
I can’t find the differences between the family vs professional plan. I currently have the professional plan but want my wife to be able to upload her pictures to her own “Camera Backup_wife” folder and I believe that is not doable unless I’m mistaken? I read that a family plan would allow her to do this but I can’t find a comparison of the plans and so I’m wondering if I would loss features switching from Professional to Family? Will I still have large file transfers? And unlimited devices?5.8KViews0likes3CommentsJPG images uploading from my iPhone 11 to Dropbox as PDFs
All of my JPG images in Dropbox on my laptop have converted to PDFs and are uploading as PDFs from my phone. On the Dropbox app on my phone the images are still JPGs. Can anyone tell me the setting to convert everything back and have my uploads remain in JPG format? Adobe won't even let me open the PDFS saying I have to upgrade to Pro!164Views0likes1Comment
