Finding it impossible to earn space from successful referrals
Dear Dropbox, The last few times that I have referred a friend to Dropbox by directly emailing the link that I originally obtained from Dropbox, they have installed the app and acknowledged their email address, but nothing has appeared on my referrals page and no space has been released. Could it be that I emailed the link directly, which is what I used to do, rather than messaging them through the referrals page? (Direct emailing used to work.) I am happy to send the most recent friend email address direct to Dropbox (rather than publish their address on a public forum) so that the issue can be investigated and hopefully corrected? Opening the Dropbox folder enables Num Lock.
Hi, I have a weird little problem. Every time I open the Dropbox folder (double click on the icon on the task bar), there's a Windows notification popping up that Num Lock has been enabled. This only started happening after I upgraded my Windows 10 to 11. Any ideas how to fix this?
I can't upgrade to the Dropbox Basic Extra Plan
I was on a Basic Extra plan for the past 18 months: 50GB of storage, no frills and only ~£18 all-in which was perfect for my needs. Since this expired I've gone to reactivate and there's no longer a plan for me, even the cheapest is far too expensive and has too much storage/features I don't need. Is there a way I can get in touch with a human from support to help me? The chat bot doesn't understand what I'm on about. Many thanks, Joe

Bonjour, Depuis quelque temps, les icônes de synchronisation (le nuage gris, le crochet vert, etc.) ne sont plus visibles sur mon Finder lorsque je lance dropbox. Je suis sur Mac Sequoia 15.3.1 et ma version de dropbox est 218.4.4348. J'ai essayé plusieurs choses mais rien ne fonctionne. Mes autres utilisateurs ont le même problème. Est-ce que quelqu'un a réussi à résoudre ce problème ?

Bonjour, J'ai rencontré 2 problèmes dernièrement : J'ai suivi toutes les étapes du parrainage, mais à la fin le statut de l'adresse parrainée est " Exclu de l'offre " ! Comment je fais pour récupérer les bonus de parrainage désormais ? Ça fait environ une semaine que je n'arrive plus à parrainer des amis. Quand j'invite un ami, un message apparaît au moment de l'inscription (après avoir rempli les champs et cliqué sur " Accepter et s'inscrire " ) du parrainé : " Tentatives trop nombreuses. Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement. " J'ai réessayé de nombreuses fois quelques heures plus tard et les jours suivants, j'ai effacé les caches, redemarré mon appareil, etc. Mais le message d'erreur s'affiche à chaque tentative d'inscription ! Pouvez-vous m'indiquer les solutions ou bien faire le nécessaire pour débloquer ces 2 problèmes ? Je vous remercie par avance. I got a notification popup that offered me Dropbox basic-extra. It was around 500GB for around $6 a month. I was excited to take the offer but was busy with other people and the timing was not right so I thought I would sign up later when I got home. But the offer was gone. On a Live Chat a customer service person gave me a URL link to redeem it but it just gave an error that said it is not available. How can I get the basic-extra plan? It is just personal use and I just cannot justify 2TB or more money. Kindly let me know how I can upgrade to the basic-extra plan. Thank, Gary

Dear Team Dropbox I have refer Dropbox to my friends on 16th Feb 2025, mostly all are accepted and make a new account on Dropbox and install app. I got bonus space as well but 2 accounts are followed all steps but my referral page showing that "invitation sent". what is the process to get that bonus space? please help regards Saqib
How to expand left sidebar width on the website?
How can I expand the left sidebar width. I have many levels of files and I can not see the names of folders that I want to move files into. As you can see below, all I can see is the first letter of the folder "A" and there are several of them. I want to be able to expand the left sidebar so I can see the names of those folders and not just the first letter. I was able to do it before, but not now for some reason. Thanks!
