I see an invalid html tags error when publishing a new post on Community.
Got this error when trying to publish a new discussion, suggest that I had a p (data-setdir) tag that I needed to remove. Can't figure out what that is and how to fix it. Can't believe that, after all the posts I've done in Dropbox Community, I suddenly need help on how post a new help discussion................but all help or thoughts are welcome. Suddenly I'm having trouble loading Dropbox PDFs (either saved as from JPEGs on Dropbox or created with Dropbox scanner) into Microsoft Word. "New" issues: PDF exceeds "maximal page size" - How can I change the default page size on Dropbox PDF scanner? Text in/on the Dropbox PDF is not OCR. Even after going through the trouble of changing the PDF size, the text is not OCR (not readable when loading or inserting in to Microsoft Word document and/or cannot be selected, copied, and pasted). All help welcome! Thank you!
I would like to be able to brighten a document in the editing section.
I uploaded paperwork and sent a link out to my viewer but later realized that I had forgotten to brighten my documents. It would be so easy if I was able to brighten them real quick in the editing section without deleting the file, brightening them elsewhere, uploading a new file, to send my viewer another link. Something like a few quick color filters like what’s in the IOS photos editing app would work just fine. It would be a nice feature.
Folder Customization - Colors, Icons, and More
Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could customize our Dropbox folders to make them more visually appealing and easier to organize? I think adding more options to personalize folders could make a big difference, and I’d love to hear what others think about this idea! Here are a few features I’d suggest: Folder Colors: Imagine being able to color-code your folders—so much easier to spot what you need at a glance! Custom Icons: A simple icon, like a music note for your playlists or a book for your eBooks, could make folders feel more intuitive. This icon could be applied to the already existing folder image, or replace the folder with just an icon. Upload Your Own Images: Personalize your workspace with photos or unique images as folder covers—practical and fun! These tweaks wouldn’t just look great; they’d make organizing and navigating files so much smoother. Plus, other platforms already offer similar options, and it would be awesome to see Dropbox join in! Can my daughter use part of my Dropbox?
Hi there I have an 10 year old kid, and set her up with her own DB. However, the moment I shared a folder with her (which has photos and videos from an event she went to) it reached 2.1GB and maxed out. I have a 2TB account and just want to be able to let her use part of MY DB to store her pics and videos. She's too young to have her own account really. I can't move to a Family account as that would be a lot less space than I am currently using in mine (I have over a decade of content in it). Is there any way to make a folder which I can share with her, and she uses my storage space and not hers?
6-digit code not sent - want to find out if account still exists
hello, i have another old account - mail adress and password existing - but if i wanna login an it says the system will send a 6-digit confirmation code, i do not receive on. is there a way of checking what the issue is there. is there a way of checking if the account still exists.? thanks.
