Screenshots not being saved to my account even though I enabled the feature on the desktop app
I set all the switches for Dropbox on windows to save screenshots, but nothing is being saved in the screenshot folder ---- as it turns out it seems that OneDrive is getting the images --- how to I correct this so Dropbox get the images?
Can deleted photos be retrieved from Deleted Files?
3 days ago I deleted some individual in-named, un-filed single iPhone uploaded pictures. A few minutes ago I tried retrieving some from the deleted files section and after adjusting the filters, nothing came up. (1)Is there a grace period for retrieving? (2)Are deleted files the only items retrievable and not individual un-filed pictures? Iâm a bit confused as to (3)what the difference between files and phone uploads and camera uploads are other than the obvious, deleting un-filed un-named singles individually to files having a name, files holding multiple pictures and ability to delete a whole file with pics all at once. (5)But with it being called â Deleted Filesâ, are they all considered the same when deleting and retrieving them? It seems that Dropbox puts all my uploaded unfiled and un-named singles under camera uploads or phone uploads, (6)which I suppose, they could be considered pre-named Dropbox files (7)Not sure if I can delete pictures as a whole from these (files?) (8)because when opened, the two prenamed dropbox file formats look different than that of a file I named. (9)Dropboxâs Camera uploads and Phone uploads (files?) would make more sense to me if i uploaded photos with a secondary device like a Nikon camera orâŠ..a Cannon. But all my Dropbox photo uploads are sourced from my iPhone camera. So that too is a bit confusing because I donât choose where my singles go. They just go. Sometimes they go to both prenamed Dropbox (files?) Iâve had Dropbox for 10 years. (10)Looking for answers.
Where is the camera uploads setting to change .heic to .jpg on iOS?
I have been using Dropbox for a long time. It worked I never had to change anything from my initial setup. On going from Windows 10 to 11 my camera uploads changed from .jpg to .heic. Most of my use for Dropbox is uploading photos from my iPhone. I have searched through the setting menus on the Desktop App, the taskbar as Dropbox is always open and the web. I can't find the thing. Where is this camera setting?How do I stop Dropbox from uploading every single picture on my PC?
I use Dropbox on my computer to backup my work files which include my 3D renders that consist in a png sequence (one image per frame at 30 or 60fps), so I have thousands of png images related to renders but dropbox automatically adds them to the camera uploads in my phone app which is extremely annoying because I need to scroll down thousands of images to see my actual photos... if I delete them it deletes my render backup as well, it does the same thing for textures, which makes my photo roll unusable.

I am trying to add all my photos from my iPhone 16 to Dropbox in order to delete them off of my phone. if I only use the backup feature can I do the above? Or do I have to upload each photo where I have to click each photo and it only allows 400 at a time? can you explain the difference like Iâm 2 please. Because in my mind the way i understand is youâre suppose to use the backup feature for new photos so it saves going forward but if I put for all photos (since Iâm new here) it should save them all. Hello all, sorry if it exist already (did not find the response to this): I use my iPhone SE (2) app to automatically do the camera upload, which works fine to get the media on the dropbox. But, sometimes I plug in my phone (MacOS catalina, maybe also with Windows 10) to charge and dropbox copies all media again as dublicates. The photos were not edited in any way. Bonjour Tout semble vide sur mon dropbox quand je regarde sur l'arborescence des fichiers sur mon ordi : Meme chose sur mon iphone : Pourtant, sur mon téléphone, impossible de transférer parce que ca me dit que dropbox est plein : Du coup, impossible de faire une sauvegarde de mes photos. Je viens de changer de téléphone. Est ce que cela aurait un rapport ? Merci à tous
