Greetings, I'll explain the problem briefly: I shared a folder containing images with a person, everything is fine, the folder is regularly viewed on the smartphone however, every thumbnail is duplicated...how to fix it? Video of the issue [removed shared link to prevent excess traffic] This is solely a visual issue, the files themselves aren't actually created. As soon as I refresh the page, the files are gone, however it takes around 3-4 seconds of doing nothing or scrolling for them to start appearing again. It then goes on forever, making browsing the folder practically impossible. I've tried disabling all extensions and also tried browsing on Chrome (I'm using Firefox as main browser), but the issue still remained there. Chrome was also a fresh install, so it's not cookies/cache.560Views0likes6CommentsA friend invited me to a shared Dropbox - now I have duplicate Dropboxes. Help!
A friend invited me to a shared Dropbox - now I have duplicate Dropboxes. The content seems to be the same, but one doesn't seem to upload/sync. How do I integrate them/delete the extra so that I'm not using extra storage space on my hard drive? Thank you!916Views0likes3CommentsHow to merge two duplicate PC backups?
I've been using Dropbox for over 10 years and I've always managed to keep the name of each new upgraded PC the same. I've backed up this PC in Dropbox. Recently, I reinstalled Windows 11 on my current PC to resolve an issue. However, I forgot to change the name of the PC to match the backed up PC, unfortunately. 😠Problem: Dropbox has backed up approximately 50% up my PC under the new "default" name. My account is now full due to the presence of the backup of my "old" PC (same physical device). Considering these two PCs are actually the same device, is there a way to simply merge the two backups? If not, how do I delete the backup of the "old" PC so Dropbox can resume backing up my current PC (which is the same physical device)?Solved552Views0likes1Comment
