A pink banner has appeared stating that: Your credit card has expired! To keep your subscription, update your credit card. However I am part of a family plan and the credit card used to pay for this is my partners, which has not expired. Is this a bug? Hi, I have deleted my shared family room folder off my desktop folders. It is still there when i log on to dropbox.com and my other family members can still see it. I am the one who set it up so i will hold admin settings. I have deleted the desktop app and re-installed but still only shows my personal files and not the family room file. I just upgraded to a family account with the idea that I could categorize our photos in different folders “Christmas Photos”, “Family Photos”, each kid with photos from over the years, etc. the expectation was that the family go could into any folder and find photos they want to download or share with extended family/friends. They could do that, but the probably was ALL the photos go into everyone’s Photo Tab. What felt like my kids’ private photo backup area was now cluttered with thousands of photos, so I’m having to keep the categorized photos in my own drive and just share with my wife. All that to say it would be awesome to have the option to exclude photos added to the Family Room from the Photo Tab.43Views0likes1CommentAllow us to add more storage to Family plans.
Why can you pay to add storage to all other plans but not the family plan? I've hit the 2tb limit (easy with multiple family members, personal & business files). The other members of the plan already have enough storage on google drive and will switch, so I'm the only one who needs to pay for dropbox. I'll go from paying $204/year > $120/year. I'd happily pay for more storage on the family plan. Am I missing something about why this can't work?20Views0likes1CommentA current Family member wants to become the manager of a new Family account.
Hi, my team is using the Family Plan, but we want to change the Family Manager to another member. The current Family Manager just canceled the Family Plan and the downgrade is scheduled for March 1st. And another member(who was the part of that Family Plan) is trying to subscribe to a new Family Plan. But just now, Dropbox said that he can't subscribe to a new plan because he is still a Family Member. Then does the member who wants to become the new manager needs to wait until March 1st or leave the current plan first and then sign up for a new one? If that member signs up for a new family plan, will he starts with no data at all? We just want to keep all our existing files and change the manager. I upgraded my 2TB plan to a Family plan and added my spouse who had the basic free account on their own. They joined the Family Plan and their email address shows up in my settings as being a member. They continue to get emails saying: Your 2 GB Dropbox Basic account is out of storage. Do they need to "close" their previous account? Ignore the emails and use the Family plan folders?
