1895 TopicsI'm trying to access Passwords from one of my 3 authorized devices, but get an error.
I have a Basic plan with 3 devices authorized. I am working from one of the 3 devices, and while logged in to Dropbox, it will not allow me to access Dropbox Passwords, saying I am already logged in to 3 devices. This is clearly an error, and I should not have to log out from one of my other devices to access. Can someone help?8Views0likes1CommentAll data on my account is gone, why?
I always had dropbox as a backup for pictures which i dont use regularly. I came back wanting to download my Vecation Pictures but my whole account is empty. I cant seem to find where to write the support directly so i am here. I am really mad i checked everything including my e-mail who told me its a new acc dispite having activity back in 2023. My iphone was stolen, and two factor authentication is stopping me from logging in. A code is supposed to be sent to my new phone, but I never receive it. Sometimes I receive an error message that says there was an error sending the code. I changed my password on my account with the Apple Private Relay address, but I am not receiving the code, so I can’t logon. I have 2 factor authentication on, and I can’t get the code from the Auth App either because of the stolen phone. See attached screenshot with error message Dropbox Support staff says I will never be able to recover my account because the email address is an Apple private relay address and I cannot send them an email from this address. This is ridiculous. I have recovered other accounts elsewhere that use Apple’s private relay address. Dropbox Support says they are going to just close my Help Desk Ticket without helping me further/with no resolution. This seems to be bad security recovery design. However, when I try to login to my email (outlook), the email does not exist. I did not delete it, it just simply says it does not exist. My personal account has been locked for several months because Dropbox is claiming the storage is full. Their error is that I had a work account I was a team member of that was closed and deleted. So somehow they attribute those files which no longer exist as being my files. They're claiming I have something like 45GB on my Dropbox & I have less than 1 GB. I have paid for a Dropbox plan in the past but do not currently need to share a large volume of files but I anticipate that I will need to again soon. With errors like this and no easy resolution I am not exactly inclined to upgrade again. Any assistance? Hi, my original account is under a different email account. I have created this dummy account to have access to posting my concern to dropbox community. My main account is a premium membership where I am paying a monthly fee of 20$. I wish to cancel the subscription, but cannot login to my dropbox account since it's tied to my old school account and my university has deactivated the account. There is no way for me to get the account back. I tried account recovery but that's of no luck either. I cannot even access live chat to help me with this, although I am paying for a dropbox subscription. Can I please get help.
