how do i autosave a word document to dropbox and not onedrive
You cant I'm afraid. Microsoft doesnt allow this - as its embedded into the program itself.
You can manually work on files inside of Dropbox and hit save on them frequently to save to Dropbox (how I do it), however.

In Word, go to File, Options, Save and check the box for Save to Computer by default. Then set the Default local file location to the folder where you wish to saved files by default.
