View and downloads videos on iOS (IPhone)
Hi!
I added some videos from my PC to a Dropbox folder. Both the folder and the videos are visible in the iOS App and I can view the video (15min) on my IPhone. BUT only once! Next time when I want to watch it, it is cut to 4s. Same when I download it to the IPhone, it’s cut to 4s.
But the size of the original video hasn’t changed.
Any idea how to solve it?
Thanks!

Hey AgaFel, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
This is strange behavior indeed. Are you also seeing the same thing when trying to preview the videos on our website?
If you open the Dropbox app, tap on "account", then on the gear icon and then on "clear cache", and restart the app, does that help?
Let me know and we'll go from there.
- AgaFelNew member | Level 2Okay, I deleted the cache, but the problem remains.
When using the website, I watch the full video, not only 4s. But when I download from the website to my IPhone , it again changes to a 4s video. But the size is as the full video.- HannahDropbox Staff
Thanks for the update, AgaFel.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Dropbox app?
Just keep in mind that if you're on a Basic free account, and you already have 3 connected devices and you uninstall, you won't be able to sign in again after you reinstall, unless you remove a device.
