If I want to remove a "family member"/user from our account will the folders that member initiated/created stay on my account?

Also, will they no longer have access to the folders they created?

Thank you for your help.

Hey there, @Bob97, welcome to our Community!

The members will get to keep the files & folders that they created using their individual account, or any content that was shared with them there.

If they created content inside the Family Room folder, it's up to the Family manager to decide if the member can keep it or not.

As the Help Center states: If the Family manager removes a member from the plan, the member will be converted to their own free Dropbox Basic account.

They will retain all the files and folders in their individual account and any content that was shared with them, but will lose access to the features and storage space of the Family plan. The Family manager can decide whether or not to let the member keep a copy of the Family Room folder.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to let me know!
