Hi,

I'm running Windows 10 and today am receiving "There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be accessed by the system."

Files have a gray X.

Thanks for any help.

Hey @Metro Board S., let's jump right into this!

Does this happen with a specific file, or multiple ones?

If you use our website, and access the content online, do you notice the same behavior? As for the gray X, it sounds like you might have another cloud service running on your machine, which is causing this to appear. This old thread has more details on this behavior.

Also, what file type are we talking about?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
