Faster way to download

I have more than 50,000 photos uploaded from my mobile to dropbox. So my default Camera download folder (which autosync with my phone) is big and heavy.

To download them into my Desktop, i have to click the corner of each image, one at a time. Is there a faster way to select a bunch of 50 images and download at one go?

Can i create smaller sub folders (by year) and download the whole folder or each small folder at a go?

  • Thanks Jay!

Yes, seems to be a faster way to download my thousands of images using "List view" and selecting by using "shift+select".

Hi Jowe, thanks for joining the Community!

Are you able to install the Dropbox desktop application on that machine? This would allow the folders on your account to download, including the camera upload folder.

If you're not able to do this, you can select multiple files using the checkboxes on the left, and then downloading them. You can even download entire folders, provided they're no greater than 20 GB in size, or have no more than 10,000 files inside.

    Hope this helps!
