Error when trying to download files from the website on multiple devices

Since a week (or so...) it is not possible to download any file using the website in firefox, chrome or edge on at least 4 different devices (Microsoft PCs, Ipads... ) when i click on download, either nothing happens or a popup message "error occured while downloading" german: " Beim Herunterladen ist ein Fehler aufgetreten" pops up...

 

I have no idea what problem there is or what to do, because now dropbox is nearly useless to me. I most often use it to get my files on devices where I cannot install the app...

 Since this happens everywhere I think it is not a browser problem...

    It is strange indeed that you're having this issue on multiple devices.

     

    Are all these devices connected to the same network/WiFi?

     

    Have you tested it while connected to a different one, to see if it helps?
