Audio Files Cut Out When Playing

I've been having an issue lately (since June) with playing MP3 files from Dropbox where the audio cuts out while playing. It cuts out at the same time stamp each time, so its not randomly cutting off...

Hi everyone, could you try offlining your files first to see if they help with the previews?

Hi Jay,

 

The MP3 files play offline with no audio cut out. This problem occurs when playing directly from Dropbox.

    Hey mspin, did you make them available offline by following the steps Jay suggested, or are you referring to playing the files locally on your device?

      Hi Hannah,
      I am also having this same problem.
      Yes, I offlined the files as described by Jay » into my iPhone.
      I then play the audio mp3 file from the DB app on iPhone.
      It plays for about a minute or so and then stops playing.

      It used to work perfectly in the past.

      Peculiarity:

      1. it seems that this occurs with recently uploaded files
      2. it seems [and I have to test this] that after a few days it plays the whole file as expected

      Any suggestions?

        Hey wnj, sorry to jump in here, but have you tried clearing the app's cache since you first noticed this?
