Storage Space
Looking for help with managing the storage space in your Dropbox account? Talk to the Dropbox Community and get advice from members.
I had about 21GB storage for years due to bonus. I made the mistake of logging out, and when I logged back I had one 2gb storage and most of my files were gone. Help!
Also, when I signed back in the files shown were not what were in my acct when I signed out. There may be an account name issue. DB must have records of my acct. Is there any way to recover?
Note also: I was previously in community as dhtax. I didn't see any way to sign in as that so I'm now dhtax1. Ant way to combine my accounts?

It sounds like you might have created a new Dropbox account instead of signing into your old one, could this be the case?
Do you have any other email addresses that you can use when trying to sign into Dropbox? You can always check your email's inbox to see if you have any Dropbox-related emails there.
What about your events page? Do you see any old activity there?

I had the same tought, but no. The emails I get from DB go to [removed] which is the account I signed in. I tried my other addresses and DB asked me to sign up for an account.
Where is the Events page? I don't see a link on my acct, but when I used the link in your post the most recent event was last April!

You were right! I managed to sign in as [removed] by resetting my password. Looks like I have my files and bonus storage. Still have no idea how this got screwed up!

Hey @dhtax1 - glad to hear we're getting there.
You can access the events page by visiting this page directly and you can also bookmark it for quicker access if needed.
As for combining your two accounts on the Community, I'm afraid there's no way to do it at this time. Note that each Community profile is associated with a different email address and Dropbox account of yours, so you might want to considerate merging your accounts and use only one email address for both.

Correct. There used to be but they removed it.
