hey

i know its probably the most basdi question , but i just dont find the way to do it , or that im missing something.

i have one folder on my computer which i want to be updated automatically , that every change i do will be updated in the dropbox.

so i tried with the back up , and it says it's doing back up but it's not updating the folder.

so how do i keep my folder updated without having to di it manually every day ?

Hi there @boazbentur - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.

If you want this folder to be synced, why don't you copy or move it inside your Dropbox folder and work from there instead of using the Dropbox backup feature?

Let us know more information and we'll take it from there.

Hey
I can do that I guess .. but isn’t there another way to keep the folder updated automatically?
I want to have it back up on computer and Dropbox simultaneously, and that both will be all the time updated for any change that I’m doing there.
Is there a way to do ? I mean to keep it synced all the time ? Or the option is to work from the Dropbox folder ?

Hi @boazbentur, what you're asking for wouldn't be possible, since the Dropbox desktop application will only sync files from within the Dropbox folder itself.

If you want the folder to sync, it needs to reside in the Dropbox folder.
