Email to dropbox (IPhone embedded images)

Since this feature is in settings, I thought I would ask it here. I enabled this feature but it seems all iPhones embed the images into the email rather than as attachments. Dropbox is not picking up the embedded image which is a shame because the majority of people have iPhones. I would like this feature to be a bit more flexible and be able to detect in-line photos. Is there a solution to this short of forcing everyone to switch to the Outlook app?

As you know, inline attachments are not currently supported when using the Email to Dropbox feature. You can see some relevant reports in the Apple's forum on this page.
