I see the badge notification on the desktop even though I closed all notifications from Mac and account and snoozed notifications all day.

Hey @geryit, thanks for the screenshot and sorry for jumping in.

At the moment, I’m afraid it’s not possible to completely disable this type of notifications.

However, from what I could find, there may be an update soon that will allow you to control how many notifications you get about automations.

Hi @geryit, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

If you click the notification bell icon, do you see any messages in yellow there?

This will help me to assist further!

The red dot means it hasn't been read. Could you click on it, or the option on the top right to Mark all as read? This should remove the desktop notification.

I know that but I want to disable this permanently.

Have you tried unchecking all notifications within the preferences page in the desktop app?

Was going to start using Dropbox but I am not having these stupid chat-like notifications appearing in the Dropbox icon which I am forced to dismiss manually. It's an easy way to lose customers. As it happens, I've uninstalled Dropbox and will be closing my account. It honestly troubles me how large companies like Dropbox and others manage to build software and omit such obvious features. Why bother?
