Quitting the free trial & password issue

Quitting the free trial & password issue

Veeaybee

I am trying to quit Dropbox 30 day free trial.

I have found the correct place to do this in Settings and am trying to follow the instructions

When I get to clicking that I want to quit, it says I must 'set a password' and then receive a message on my email address.

I've tried the password I set up to join Dropbox but that doesn't work. Then I've tried setting a new one in the space on the Quit form but nothing happens.

What do they want me to put in - my original password or a new one?

Why hasn't the email come through?

Hi @Veeaybee, I'd be more than happy to help!

Did you upgrade to a trial via the Dropbox site or the mobile app?

It's odd that it asks you to set up a new password, and to not input your existing one. Have you tried resetting your password, before cancelling your trial, by any chance?

Also, when you say quit form, could you maybe send me a few screenshots of this?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!
