Hello,
A month ago I've applied for the Trial period with my Google account, but did not find the functionality which I needed. I cancelled the trial and deleted the account.
Today, I've received an email that I will be charged in 7 days. I would like to confirm that it will not happen.
My current account is using the same credentials as the previous one, but I had to register once again since the previous one does not exist anymore, and certainly there cannot be an active subscription on it.
Thanks.
Hi @Andrii8860, let's jump right into this!
You mentioned that you cancelled the trial, therefore I strongly believe you should be okay, especially since you also deleted the account.
But just to check: was that email from Dropbox or Google's end?
Also, even if the new account has your old credentials, there's nothing to worry about, since it's a brand new Dropbox account, with no payment info linked to it.
I hope this clarifies!

The email about the trial ending was from Dropbox, though I do not remember whether I linked a credit card directly or used Google Pay - in any case, if charge is not supposed to occur - I will see in a week and will reopen the thread if it happens. I was not able to find the email from Dropbox about trial cancellation, however - only the email about successful account deletion. Thanks.
Hi @Andrii8860, keep in mind that if you upgraded and cancelled through Google's end, it would take a bit more time for the process to show-up on our end.
Since the charge is handled by Google. Hence the emails from Dropbox. It might be cancelled, but it'll show up on our end a bit later on. In any case, I'm here if you have any news, and we'll work to rectify them.
Thanks!
