Keep in mind, that it would be a better idea for your friend to contact us directly, in order for us to troubleshoot further.
Now, I'd need some additional info that wasn't entirely clear on your post. Is your friend trying to upgrade to a paid plan, or did he upgrade, but he can't see that being reflected in his account?
