Hi Everyone,

I was volunteering full time for over a year for a local Not For Profit which I loved but had to leave when things became too strained financially & I've only just discovered that since leaving I'm being charged monthly by Dropbox for an account that's never been used (from my knowledge) with nothing in it! that was set up under a work email? I only found it by following the charge look up tool! I'm distraught! It might seem an insignificant amount to some but in my current circumstances it really impacts.

I'm doing the best I can raising two girls on my own and this has been a bit of a blow honestly, is there any way that the money can be recouped? Everything I've read states that my money is gone, that these charges can't be refunded but I'm desperately holding out hope after reading some of the responses from members in this community.

Seriously, I cannot remember for the life of me how I ended up with a paid account??

Thank you in advance for any guidance.

Typically, Dropbox subscriptions are non-refundable. Maybe if you try contacting support they'll consider a refund if it's a very recent charge, but I wouldn't count on it.

To contact Support, visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
