Please help!  I was charged just shy of $200 on a DropBox acct that I did not know was there.  Please help me cancel and get the refund

Hello, Im a student an i used the free trial for my uni. I cancelled the free trial only to wake up 5 days before seeing that literary all of my money from my bank account have been sent to Dropbox without even asking me. I dont want the subscription I need my money back, but i cant find a way to talk with someone.

Refunds are only given where legally required. You will need to send in proof of cancellation.

 

You will need to contact Support at www.dropbox.com/support and ask for help.

Hello!

My Google account was recently hacked and I was unable to cancel my free trial in the given time. I was hoping to receive a refund and that this is eligible.

The only people who can help are at www.dropbox.com/support

 

However, refunds are only issued where there is a legal requirement to do so.

Hi @JohanVenter  , let's jump right into this!

 

Have you tried to contact Dropbox Support directly for this?

 

You can visit the Support page while you're not signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.

 

Once you do, feel free to send me the ticket number reference, in order for me to locate it on my end.

 

If you face any issues, and struggle to open a ticket, I'll be more than happy to open one on my end for you.
