We have just set up a new account and tried to upgrade the plan for more space, but it has repeatedly got to the end of the set up, and dumped me back to the main page with a small note at the top of the page saying "Couldn't start trial due to technical error."
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @Sky Free.
Have you tried doing this through a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if you get a different behavior?

Hi Hannah,
Neither different browsers or private browsing on any of them solved the issue, I still go the same error,
I did upgrade without the trial which worked fine, So it's not an issue for me any more, but is a glitch on the system still,
