Hello,

I was invited to join a business team and did, but in doing so inadvertently cancelled my subscription to my personal account. I need to restore my personal account urgently. I have asked the business team to remove me from their account, which they have done, but have no idea how to restore my previous account. Could someone from Dropbox please help me ASAP.

Hi there @soph_mill - sorry to hear about this.

In this case, you'll need to reach out to your team admin and ask them to convert your account back to an individual one using these steps.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks Walter. That worked a treat. Now I have another problem I need to solve ASAP. In my fear that I'd lost my account, I quickly set up another so I now have two accounts I've paid subscriptions for. I only need one. Is it possible to cancel the new one, keep the restored one, and be refunded for one of the yearly fees. Thank you!

Hello,

I've recently had an issue resolved where I joined a Teams account and accidentally had my personal account deleted. Thanks to a quick response from Dropbox and the admin following the recommended steps my personal account has been restored. Phew!

However, I now have another problem I need to solve ASAP with Dropbox billing. In my fear that I'd lost my account, I quickly set up another so I now have two accounts I've paid subscriptions for. I only need one. Is it possible to cancel the new one, keep the restored one, and be refunded for one of the yearly fees. Thank you!
