Importing files from MuseScore to Dropbox? Here’s all you need to know!

So, you've created a masterpiece in MuseScore, and now you want to save it to your Dropbox account. Then you can access it on the go, or share with someone else, even if they don’t use MuseScore. Converting the MuseScore file to .PDF is the key (signature 😉) to seamless sharing across all devices, don’t worry it’s a super simple process! Here’s how you can do it in step by step! 
 
Open Your MuseScore File 

 

🎆 Fire up MuseScore on your computer and open your latest composition.

 

:notes: Take a moment to admire your work—look at those notes! You’re practically Mozart 🙌
 
Convert to PDF 
 
Now, it's time to transform your musical genius into a universally readable format.
 
  1. Click on File in the top-left corner.
  2.  Select Export… from the dropdown menu.

  1. In the Format dropdown, choose PDF.

  1. Choose your Dropbox folder to save the PDF file. 
  2. Click Save

    1. Your Dropbox folder will automatically open up and show you where your file is saved.

    Ta-da! Your MuseScore file is now a shiny new PDF (My Song.pdf) within your Dropbox folder! 

   **(From the above Screenshot, you can see how I also saved the project as a .mscz file

- this will only open if you have MuseScore installed on the device you are using)

 
From here, you can share the PDF with friends, collaborators, or anyone else by clicking on the file in Dropbox and selecting Share. You can also access it anytime, anywhere. 
 
And there you have it, you've successfully turned your MuseScore file into a PDF within your Dropbox account. You’re a tech-savvy musician now!
