Safety password for Dropbox Passwords for iPhone.

Safety password for Dropbox Passwords for iPhone.

I'd like to know if it's possible to protect the access to Dropbox Passwords own my iPhone with a dedicated password.
Currently I can enable the FaceID protection but I don't think this is very secure.

Thanks

Hey @cex, thanks for posting here today!

I'd also suggest the FaceID route, since that's what I use on my end.

I'm guessing you're not referring to an actual password in order to access your account, but something similar to a passcode, right?

If that's the case then I don't have something specific to suggest on my end. You might be able to achieve that using a third-party app.

Thank you!

Hi Megan, thanks for your reply.
Actually I'm referring to the password to access in my iPhone to the App Dropbox Password.
Currently this App is protected with the Face ID Password (or my iPhone Password) which I don't think is a solution secure enough.

Other password managers (i.e. 1Password) allows the FaceID access control or to use alternative passwords.

I think this should be a mandatory option for a safe password manager.

Thanks

Hey @cex, thanks for your feedback on this.

If you've set your Dropbox Passwords app to auto-lock, the app should use your device’s current, default security feature to unlock your device.

You can see more info and steps on how to enable auto-lock here.

I hope this helps!
