Hi Geoff,

we are pleased to announce the release of a new Passwords Android version, 278.10, specifically designed to fix the crashes that were related to device backups. To resolve these problems, it is necessary to perform a clean install of the new app version. This process will help eliminate any lingering data conflicts or corrupted files on your device.

Hi @Geoff S.10, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the device, and re-installing it to see if this helps?

Keep me updated with any progress!

I did that already and it had no effect.  The app did work last week when I first installed it but now fails immediately.

Could you try clearing the cache and data of the Dropbox Passwords app via the Android settings, and then try the uninstall process I mentioned previously?

Did not help. Either it just shuts down immediately or I get "Dropbox Passwords keeps stopping".

Can we send you an email, so we can look into this internally?

I ran into the same issue. But deleting the cache and storage, then reinstalling fixed it for me.
