Since updating to this build, after selecting files and folders to use Smart Sync, I continually get a system error "mdworker quit unexpectedly." In troubleshooting this, it seems that it occurs due to Smart Sync trying to sync .pdf files.
When Dropbox is terminated, the error stops popping up.
still no green checkmark when sync is complete... other than that, works great (linux only) 🙂
'Always show tray icon' option doesn't work if you would make clean installation of Dropbox on Windows 10 v1709.

The green check mark on the tray icon no longer exists. They removed it intentionally.
I don't have a green check mark on the task bar icon, but I have green checks on all the files and folders... My smile is very slowly disappearing
Oh wow, that's lame imo
Hi,
the latest release killed the green checkmarks when finished loading. Very annoying as the green checkmarks are an important signal that everything is alright.
Please fix that!
Thanks
I did. But it's ugly, pointless, barely visible and counter-intuitive. Congratulations for this great coup. How many resources did it take to figure out such a revolutionary change to your UX? Which highly paid genius is responsible for these kind of "improvements"? The green checkmark is a global symbol and literally ticks a box in people's heads wherever they come from. Removing it is just one thing - stupid.
As another user here put it very nicely with regard to the same matter: We are living in clownworld.
