This is an early release feature that is subject to these additional terms.
But what are the changes @clientreleases ?
My Dropbox is on this build but it is still not using the new file provider extension.
System: macOS 12.3 and M1 Pro Macbook.
Same to me, buy I'm using a Intel MBP 13' 2020. And I've got checked the preliminaries versions option in my Dropbox settings.

So there is a new setting I think in the web UI settings for your user...
"Smart Sync update for Mac" either on of off (off on my setup). That is in addition to the "Dropbox system extension" setting. Has anyone else seen this and for those having issues with the Monterey setup have you tried turning it on?
"Smart Sync update for Mac" has always been enabled for me; this is not a new setting. I don't know if this setting has anything to do with why Dropbox is still not using the File Provider extension. I will disable it to see if anything changes and then post an update here.
Ah ok. False alarm then. Had never noticed it before but its turned off for me.
So I disabled "Smart Sync update for Mac", unlinked my Dropbox account, deleted all local references to Dropbox using AppCleaner, reinstalled Dropbox, and it is still not using the new Apple File Provider extension. 😑
Device: MacBook Pro M1 Pro
OS: macOS 12.3
Plan: Dropbox Family
Dropbox Client: v145.3.4888 (Apple Silicon)
The “Smart Sync update for Mac” has been around for a long time and is there to not show files on DB as taking up space on the Mac. I’m not sure what it does (or does not) on the current betas, but I have it on and syncing is working on my mine (with DB in <User>/Locations/CloudStorage.
