Dropbox comments via API

I would like to download via a Dropbox API comments associated with hundreds of jpgs via a Python API. A Google search revealed a similar question posted in this community four years ago. The response was that feature is currently unavailable.

Is that still the case? Is there any workaround?

    Unfortunately Dropbox still doesn't offer an API for accessing file comments. I'll add this to the feature request, but I don't have any timeline as to if/when it might be done, or any other workaround.
