moving files within Dropbox

I tried to move several files in Dropbox to another folder in Dropbox. Some were moved, others got the message "cannot move". Is this because they were duplicates?

Hi debbieo, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

There could've been an interruption during the move process, or the files were in use somehow.

Could you try switching browsers to see if this helps?

Keep me updated with any progress!

      Hi Jay,

Thanks for your response.  I don't understand "switching browsers" - I always use Chrome... but I do remember that all the files that would not move had the same date from April of last year.  This makes me think that perhaps I made copies of them; the originals all had different dates.

Do you see the files being moved according to the events page on your account?
