automated folders

automated folders

Dear Sirs,

In my dropbox I have a one file which is updated daily by various users in a normal folder. My intention is to create an automated folder, where once per month, specifically at 21h00 on the last day of each month, a copy of this file is saved automatically in another folder with the name of the month. Is that possible ?

best regards

Robbie1970

Hey @Robbie1970! Thanks for posting here.

What you’d like to achieve exactly isn’t possible via folder automations/naming conventions, I’m afraid.

However, there may be a third-party app that could help you do this or a script, in case you have the desktop app installed on your computer and this folder is synced locally.

I hope this helps a bit.
