Is there a way to see all of the file sizes of every file I have on dropbox without going into individual folders?

Hi @icarusct, thanks for joining the Community!

Currently, there isn't a method to see and sort every single file on your account to check their sizes.

You would need to go into each individual folder on your account, and if need be, calculate the folder size so that you can see which folders are larger.

There may be an app or service that could perform this feature on your local Dropbox folder on your machine.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

This is pretty sad, as obviously Dropbox is keeping a running total of the sizes of every file, and in the case of my situation, and that of many others, it's telling me I have three times the amount of files, than I have in my Dropbox folder on my computer!  So just saying we can find a way to get the sizes of the files on our computer, does nothing to help clear up so huge a discrepancy, as to what Dropbox says I have. It's pretty ridiculous that in the list of files and folders I see here, that there is no way to ascertain their sizes. So what do I do, when I'm told I have three times the files as I actually have on my computer's Dropbox folder?

Jay, that's simply not true, as I finally found a page that explains how to do it. I forget the exact process, but currently, I now see all the sizes, as there is now a column showing each file's size.

Hi @Steven Cee, it is possible to show the file sizes, however, the user was asking to view the size of every file on their account without having to enter each folder manually, which isn't  possible at this time.

Hi @corinnemcb, you can view file sizes using the steps in my previous post. However, it isn't possible to see file sizes for all files in all folders, as you need to go into each folder manually.

Hi @BernardIE5317, happy Monday!

Which platform are you referring to? In case you're talking about the web, keep in mind that you can currently see the file sizes there too, by following these steps.
