I noticed yesterday that the timestamp on my uploaded and edited files are anywhere between 6 and 9 hours earlier. My Time zone settings are set correctly.

This has been happening to me for a few weeks now. It is causing photos and videos to come up as if they were taken on a different day. For example it is currently 5:21pm however uploading a video from today it says it was uploaded at 12:21am tomorrow... someone please help. I am using my Samsung 10, no updates needed, time zone is correct. I am stumped, any advice would be appreciated. I am about ready to give up on dropbox after 8 yrs...

Can you clarify for me please, where did you check the timezone settings? 

 

Was this from your device settings, or from your Dropbox account?

Device settings, I have had the same phone setting for years and have used dropbox on my phone for years as well.

Hello! My time stamps are still wrong on my uploads to dropbox but correct in my gallery, any help would be hugely appreciated!

Hi there @RachForsyth; thanks for joining the discussion here and sorry to hear you're also seeing wrong time-stamps on files uploaded to Dropbox. 

 

Can you please let us know if you're uploading those files through a mobile device or a desktop one using our apps or if you're only using a web browser?

I think its time to cancel dropbox and move all my photos and media somewhere else. Im over this crap. My photos are still being put up with the wrong timestamp. Then Im asked questions about my settings and never hear anything again. Get a grip Dropbox, help your customers!

Hi @RachForsyth, are these for files you manually uploaded using the mobile app, or for images/videos which used the automatic camera uploads?
